Boner® Boards Classic "Can't Grind" Skateboard Deck (BBS 152)
This fun Skateboard Deck with the "Can't Grind Without A Boner®" graphic is made from strong, light, hard 7 ply Canadian maple hardwood, fused together with water-resistant glue. This ensures maximum stiffness, strength, pop and durability. This full size skateboard deck (Length 31" and Over) is sized for teens and adults, and made with progressive mellow concave curvature in the middle, then "Progressively" steeper at the rails. This design provides a more stable, secure footing and a more comfortable locked-in feel under your feet when standing motionless on the deck, yet provides enough curvature to be able to perform flip tricks.
The "Can't Grind" deck is also designed with Double Kick (Twin-Tip), which similarly offers the most versatile movement for a beginner, yet these boards provide the ability to do most tricks you see the accomplished skater pros doing due to its equally sloped nose and tail ends. Having kick on both the nose and tail allows for even more advanced skate tricks. Kicktails and kicks are also important for sharp turns, pivots, slides, and general maneuvering in street skating. With Double Kick design, you can do tricks from either end (nose or tail) and ride switch smoothly along the streets with ease.
Rounded rails are common for skateboards, and what we choose of our decks, as their shape makes them good for flip tricks. Having the correct rail shape can make a difference in how your board rides.
Hanging with friends, commuting from one place to another or practicing tricks at the skate park can be a great way to make friends and hone your skills at the same time. Choosing the Right Skateboard Trucks Size (Sold Separately)
Truck size is measured by axle width or hanger width. The width of the hanger and axle determines how far apart your wheels are. The width of your trucks will affect the performance of your board, since different truck widths are better suited for certain riding styles. The most common setup is for the truck axle to be approximately the same width as your deck – this setup offers the most stability. Generally speaking, go with an axle that is just greater or less than 1/4" the width of the board.
6.50" (in) to 7.25" skateboard decks need 6.00" (in) to 7.25" (in) truck axle
7.25" (in) to 7.50" skateboard decks need 7.50" (in) truck axle

8.00" (in) to 8.50" skateboard decks need 8.00" (in) truck axle
8.50" (in) to 9.00" skateboard decks need 8.50" (in) truck axle
9.00" (in) to 10.0" skateboard decks need 9.00" (in) truck axle
10.0" (in) wide and above skateboard decks need 10.0" (in) truck axle
Choosing a Skateboard Truck Profile
The distance between the hanger and the bottom of the skate deck is known as truck profile. Generally, mid-sized trucks suit most skateboarders, which is the size recommended for our Boner® Boards Skateboard Decks, though they can be substituted with low trucks for more trick skating styles.
Low Truck: Designed for small wheels, low trucks provide extra stability for certain moves, such as flip tricks. We recommend a 50-53mm wheel size for low trucks.
Mid Truck: Mid-sized trucks are solid choices for park or street skateboarding. We recommend 53-56mm wheel size for mid-level trucks. If you plan to cruise more than do tricks, a higher wheel size between 55mm and 65mm might be better option.
